Bluff magazine is America’s most widely-circulated poker magazine. It is soon to reach poker fans on the other side of the Atlantic with its soon released ‘Bluff Europe”. Slot Online reports:

Distribution is thus far limited to online poker sites, with several UK and Continental European Internet Poker rooms digging out the magazine. Having the European poker player in mind, the first issue of Bluff Europe includes a report on Europe’s most highly-regarded poker tournament, the Monte Carlo Millions, as well as poker talk from Michael Gekko, formerly of EastEnders’ fame.

Foxwoods Poker Classics to be a Part of The World Poker Tour (WPT)

The Foxwoods Poker Classic will be joining the World Poker Tour (WPT).  The tournament will take place between March 27th to April 9th. This tournament will be the second WPT stop at Foxwoods, that joins the WPT finals. It is expected that this tournament will attract over 4000 entries. The prize pool is expected to surpass the earlier among of $3.8 million and go well over $5 million. The organizers would like to make this event as successful as the WPF. The latter draws over 6000 entries and has a prize pool more than $12 million. Foxwood is sure to catch up soon with the WPF, is expected. Onlinecasinonews.com reports:

“We’re thrilled that the Foxwoods Poker Classics is the second WPT event hosted by Foxwoods for season four,” said Kathy Raymond, Director of Poker Operations at Foxwoods. It really raises the bar for the event that takes it from a regional tournament to a national one.

Nguyen Wins 2005 Card Player Player of the Year Award

The most talked about event of the season is the first Card Player Player of the Year Awards Gala. This will be held at the well-known Henry Fonda Music Box theater, on February 15th. Men Nyugen will take center stage at this event. He will accept the coveted 2005 Card Player Player of the Year award. Along with legends like Doyle Brunson, Nguyen and several other stars will be honored. This event honors and acknowledges all the top achievers of the year. Brunson is considered to be an extraordinary player, known for his tremendous talent and dedication. Nguyen collected more than 1000 points in November and 500 in December again. This will be his fourth “Player of the Year” title. Cardplayer.com reports:

He won the award for totaling 4,604 points (plus an impressive $973,620 in total earning and 16 final tables to his credit). This year’s honors come with a $10,000 buy-in to the 2006 World Series of Poker.
